March 2015 NEWSLETTER

Harmonies & Harminies
We here we are at the looking at the end of another term and again we have been delighted to say hello to a number of new members during the past few weeks. We have been concentrating on some new breathing and singing techniques and this has paid off as we are able to learn more new and challenging pieces.

Important Reminder
There will be no sessions week beginning 16th March at Stamford, Peterborough or Oundle. An additional session at these locations will be added on to the end of term, week beginning 30th March. All other sessions will be running as usual so why not give a different group a try and get to know members from other areas?

Our West End Swansong
We are full steam ahead for our final performance in the West End at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane on Sunday 22nd March at 6-30pm. We still have tickets available so if you would like to come along and support us please get in touch.

Show Choir session 29th March
The next Show Choir session at Stamford will be held at All Saints and St Johns Church Centre, West Street Stamford PE9 2PR (opposite CJ Carpets and Lighting) Parking is available in the nearby Scotgate carpark or North Street car park on Barn Hill (five minute walk). Please remember to arrive no earlier than 2-15pm.

Workshops
A series of four workshops have been set up for the summer break and these are available to book online or by completing the flier that is available at all sessions. All workshops will run from 7-30pm to 9-30pm and cost £6 per person.

The Sound of Music – Langtoft 27th July
Miss Saigon – Tinwell 29th July
African Theme – Spalding 5th August
Bring a Bloke IV - Bourne 7th August.

Something for everyone so why not come along and try something different? Remember you don’t have to be a member of AHOH to attend workshops so please tell your friends.

There will be no workshops set up for the Easter break this year as it is quite short and we will just have some time off!
