February 2013 NEWSLETTER
Thanks to anyone who has given feedback on the new website, booking system and the online shopping and fee payment facility. If you haven’t yet registered for the online Members Area, I strongly suggest you do so as this will enable you to access the latest information and support materials and, of course, to sign up to take part in performances. Can I please make a polite request not to e-mail me to ask me to add or remove you from an event – the functionality of the new site means that you can sign up or remove yourself.
Show Choir – EXTREMELY IMPORTANT
The January session of the Show Choir was very well attended, however, many of the members that came had not registered and we now find ourselves in the position where we have 96 members on the register! The halls booked can accommodate this number but it is absolutely vital that, if you are not a registered Show Choir member, you please don’t just turn up. If you are unsure if you are a Show Choir member, then please log into your online account and it will tell you. I now have a waiting list for the Show Choir - if you would like to join us please let me know and I will add you to the list. Additionally, if you are registered but don’t wish to attend please let me know so that I can offer your place to someone else.
Show Choir Venue Changes
Please download “Version 2” of the Schedule from the Website as there have been a couple of changes. All dates remain unaltered.
Sunday Night Live at Her Majesty’s

The coach will leave Langtoft at 8.30am to allow time for shopping, lunch or sight- seeing. There will be other local departure points. 6th October 2013 – Her Majesty’s Theatre, London
This is just a note to ‘save the date’; our London performance this year will be on Sunday 6th October. More details soon. Unfortunately the indigO2 have changed the way in which they administer their shows and, as such, the O2 performances are no longer viable to 1640 Productions. I am extremely disappointed by this news but at least we have Her Majesty’s to look forward to! Onwards and Upwards.
